Tiring enough weekend. Ella Enchanted wrap dinner on Friday. Boozy Italian meal. I had the veal. Hugh Dancy, young British actor tipped as the next Batman, showed up late on in the proceedings. He plays Char in the movie, and he’s currently in Ireland playing Sir Galahad in King Arthur. I don’t know how he felt on being confronted by a drunk sound crew and assorted Miramax executives, but he carried it off with good grace. I’m not entirely sure how sober he was himself. I found it difficult to tell, for some reason. Somebody put “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” by Elton John and Kiki Dee on the stereo (it’s the big musical number at the end of the movie) and he gamely did a bit of his routine. Here’s the photograph I took of this special moment.
The SonyEricsson T610 is a very snazzy phone, but it doesn’t take great photos in low light. Oh well.
