Snowman

Nothing to report, just thought I’d square away the poll. Stopped snowing for a while. Made a snowman. Here’s a picture of my neighbourhood.

Somewhat successfully spoke to my parents using Skype. My username is “ajlitton” if anybody else wants to give it a go.

The poll:

7 people want me to arrive home with a spectacular handlebar mustache
2 people want to see a very short beard with an elaborate pattern shaved into it
2 more people see me as some sort of silent movie villain
1 person wishes me to wear a simple, neat beard and mustache
and 1 person wants to see me ironically adopt a Hitler style toothbrush

So, a spectacular handlebar mustache, eh? We’ll see, we’ll see…

    It looks like something else to me, not a snowman. Perhaps a part of a snowman. I got my IPOD, its great. You were right, it took me a while to come around to it but you were right. Totaly buggered up my modem in the upgrade to XP, lost the drivers. Do you know any way of retriving these without the original disk. No internet means lots of songs called track 01. Good to hear things seem to be picking up over there, you are right to stick it out. Sorry it took me so long to write anything. I prefer texting.

    I thought we’d long ago established that I’m always right, Zaini, but I suppose it’s no harm to reinforce it every now and then with some concrete examples.
    The best way to get the drivers is over the internet, unfortunately. You’ll have to use somebody else’s computer and copy them over. Go to the manufacturer’s website. You can probably find out who the manufacturer is by going into the control panel-> Hardware and Maintenance-> System-> Hardware-> Device Manager. Or maybe not.

    Thanks, I’ll give that a go. Must go for pints when you get home. Think the in the dark party might be our only chance as I am going to Spain for Christmas.
