Nominal

A , posted by Anthony late at night.

Just a nominal, minimalist post. Monday wasn’t my last day. Neither was today. Tomorrow? Possibly, possibly…

I’ve adopted Google Ads. They will appear between the first and second posts. It’s just an experiment, really – I don’t expect to earn much.

And, in closing (my that was short), here is an article which might help to illuminate for all you non-gamers out there why it’s so cool for me to be working on the sequel.

Oh, and I’ve finished Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and purchased Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I’m on a colon kick. And I went to see I, Robot, which I haven’t reviewed yet. But I will! I will!

Video games are too complicated these days. The niece and neph try and try to teach me. I can’t even master Mario GO Kart, forget about X-box and all that. What happened to nice games like Pong and Q-bert, eh?!?

I live in fear of the day that I start saying things like that, for then I’ll be out of a job. :)

Hell, you could do worse than come up with next Q-Bert!

I actually meant the “Video games are too complicated these days.” part. :)

That reminds me, I must pick up the hair dye so that people won’t cotton on to how old I really am…

Let me (or your general blogging public) know how the Google Ads go. I have always thought it was hard enough getting anyone to visit my site in the first place, without bothering them with adverts once they have arrived. On the other hand, if there’s money to be made then I will be more than willing to sell out.

They always look a bit weird on my browser though because Norton Firewall Ad Blocker won’t show the link but it will show the description underneath, which can get a bit confusing.

As for games, I am an Unreal tournament 2004 convert. I am absolutely crap at it though and would never play it online as I would undoubtedly get my pixelated ass kicked by anaemic teenagers who never leave the house. It is great stress relief though.
